6 Dinner Ideas for Valentine’s Day

These meals might require you to take a small trip to the nearby store, get your stuff beforehand, and let’s get cooking.

1. Roasted Red Pepper Pasta

Creamy, Velvety, Savory and a little sweet flavourful roasted red pepper pasts are my personal favorite. My girlfriend is very cautious about what she is eating. This is a good choice if you like to take the trip to the vegan-land. This pasta is 100% gluten-free. Just saute the shallots and garlic to the sauce a robust and sweet base. Roast some red peppers in olive oil till soft, and charred.

Once you reach the creamy texture, add a little cornstarch to give the thickening to the sauce. Keep the pasta gluten-free, avoid the typical wheat spaghetti. Add salt and pepper to the sauce. Once thickened, add boiled noodles. You may add some spiraled veggies or extra protein for some extra strength. Serve the pasta with finely chopped fresh parsley or basil. Add parmesan cheese as much as you want. It’s a cheesy night.

2. 20 minute Spaghetti Carbonara

If the above pasta seems like a lot of work, pick Spaghetti Carbonara. This is going to take only 20 minutes to be prepared. Boil your spaghetti and collect only 1 cup of pasta water while draining the rest. Whisk eggs and Parmesan cheese until they are combined. In a skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Add garlic and roast a bit, add spaghetti and toss to completely coat in the bacon fat. Pour over eggs and cheese mix after you remove it from heat. Keep it creamy and don’t scramble the eggs. Add pasta water slowly to loosen the sauce. Season generously with salt and pepper. I like it with a little bit of oregano to bring the Italian touche. Serve!!

3. Faster Steak Fries

A secret of Millenium; use frozen french fries. Just cook the frozen french fries as its label directs and keep it aside. Heat oil on medium-high. Season your loin steaks with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and pepper each. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare or to the desired doneness. Combine mayo, shallot, water, lemon juice, fresh tarragon, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Serve!!

4. Braised Chicken with Indian Naan Bread

Coconut Milk Braised Chicken with Sweet Potatoes and Rice is a fusion of Thai and Indian flavors in the perfect balance of spices and comfort of healthy food options. Prep your chicken with marinating it with turmeric, ground ginger, and a little curd mix altogether. Sear the chicken to give it more flavor.

Toss in a good amount of shallots, garlic, sweet potatoes, and spices to stir till all comes together. Add broth and coconut milk and bring it to boil. I use our Best Stovetop Pressure Cooker to cook the braised chicken. Add a little bit of fish sauce for the savory fragrance and taste just before you close the lid off. Serve with steamed rice or fresh naan (Indian Bread).

5. Tomato Paprika Soup with Hearty Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Perfect coziness comes with the Red hot Tomato soup + Grilled Cheese Sandwiches and your bae waiting for Netflix and chill. Breakfast in dinner is a very haughty and romantic idea that gets more meaningful if the ingredients involve your love. Make your favorite Grilled Cheeze Sandwiches. Cut out the heart-shaped toasts. I advise you to keep these sandwiches half cooked.

Grill the small hearts separately. Now keep the cut hollow of sandwich in pan and break an egg in between. You have grilled cheese along with a hearty omelet. Sprinkle some salt and spring onions to add more color. Get your tomato soup ready. A dip in the soup is all that you need to do before you gulp down the sandwiches.

6. Loaded Veggie Nachos

Bring your Nachos Game to the V Day mania too. Use 1/2 a bag of tortilla chips or go nuts with the whole bag. Roast your chips for 30 seconds. Spread vegan cheese shreds or cheese sauce on the Nachos. Add 1/2 medium onion, 1 tomato, 1/2 cup pickle slices, all diced. Drizzle or streamline vegan mayo, and ketchup. Add yellow mustard if you like. You can add shredded romaine lettuce or some strips of bacon according to your preferences.

Set up your dinner table with a few cute candles, perfumed ambiance, and your favorite love song playlist. Add on a bottle of champagne and play Elvis Presley for the night. ‘
