The Best Fall Treats for Your Holiday Celebrations

There are lots of amazing holidays that happen during the fall months. Like most people, you probably plan to gather with your loved ones to celebrate.

So, if you’re planning a holiday party, you might want to know what you should be serving to your guests.

But how do you make the right choices for your party planning? Read on to find out about the best fall treats for your holiday plans.

Pies Galore

Of course, pecan pies and pumpkin pies are an important part of celebrating Thanksgiving. But that doesn’t mean you can’t include different tasty pies in other fall holidays. Some of the other types of pies you might want to bake in the fall include:

  • Cranberry
  • Chocolate cream
  • Pear
  • Maple
  • Sweet potato
  • Raisin
  • Raspberry
  • Custard
  • Apple
  • Walnut

You should choose your pies based on your taste. After all, you’re likely to end up with plenty of leftover fun fall desserts!

Autumn Finger Foods

When you’re looking for foods that your guests can help themselves to, you might be interested in finger foods for your appetizers.

You can always throw back to the foods you enjoyed as a child during the fall months. Grilled cheese sandwiches are perfect finger food, and can be sliced up to be more aesthetically appealing. You can even have shots of tomato soup on the side to top them off.

Sausage rolls are always a fan favorite – and you can get vegan versions, too, so that everyone can enjoy autumn treats. Or, give your deviled eggs a fall dress-up with a pumpkin dressing or an extra sprinkling of seeds in the mix.

If you already have pumpkins on hand, consider roasting the seeds. You can put them in a bowl alone or mix them up with other nuts and seeds for a fun trail mix appetizer.

And don’t neglect the dip when you’re making appetizers! Garlic-based dips are perfect for the fall. Consider adding some tzatziki to your rotation. You can even come up with fall-themed hummus variants.

You can put together a nice fall charcuterie platter. You could even use alcohol-infused food for a little extra bite!

Go with Classic Autumn Treats

If you can’t think of anything else, you can utilize classic fall flavors and give them a new twist. You might be thinking of incorporating pumpkin spice into your menu, given its popularity.

But, instead of just throwing the flavor into the standard cookies, cakes, and scones, you may consider going for something a little more creative. If you have a lot of children coming to your fall parties, pumpkin spice cake pops are sure to blow their minds.

You can even make your own pumpkin spice blend yourself if you’re looking to lean all the way into the homemade trend.
