We can buy things and even sell them on the Internet, we can stream our favourite series and movies from anywhere and anytime. In short, the Internet has become our dearest pastime and the first thing we run up for almost everything. So it is not going to be shocking to realize that the internet has also become a source of employment.

Being a YouTuber can make you a famous personality and even make you a wealthy person, there are thousands of such notable YouTubers and Sapnap is among them.

Who is The YouTuber Sapnap?

Sapnap’s real name is Nicholas Armstrong, he uses the nickname Sapnap for his gaming channel, and the name portrays his gaming style. Sapnap is undoubtedly the superstar of the gaming channel. He is now the greatest and arguably the most famous Minecraft gamer and streamer on YouTube. Many people have confused themselves by thinking Sapnap is a YouTuber who has been making videos for a long time before success hit him, but the truth is that he is comparatively a young person who received fame in the same year he joined the online platform.

Nicholas was born in 2001 and lives in America. He had said in one of his interviews that he had taken computer science but later dropped out. He has talked about his personal life during his streaming time- so far, we know that he has two siblings, and is a pet parent. While he is not doing Minecraft streaming, he is playing the violin. He is fond of music and enjoys being surrounded by art of all kinds. 

A Sneak Peek into Sapnap’s YouTube Journey

Nicholas’s YouTube journey went from a newbie to a superstar YouTuber. He knew he had a passion for Minecraft and enjoyed doing it. He first decided to showcase his talent online in 2019. He started Minecraft building on an app called Twitch and realised that his content was liked by many. He within a short period gained popularity. Seeing his popularity, he decided to switch from Twitch to YouTube as YouTube is a much bigger platform and will make him more popular. 

In 2020, Sapnap started streaming on YouTube and joined the prominent “Dream Team.” “Dream Team” stands true to its name and has gamers with whom every aspiring gamer would like to collaborate with. Admired gamers are in this team including Georgenotfound and Dream.

These Minecraft gamers are the most loved ones in their field, and it is a dream of almost all aspiring Minecraft gamers to one day be a part of the “Dream Team” and work with people they look up to. So, it was a dream come true for Sapnap when he got to know about his collaboration with the “Dream Team.” It was possible because of his hard work and the followers he gained in such a short time. 

The Step to Success

Not many know this but Sapnap first met the Dream Team in 2013 during Dream Team’s shared Skype. They talked and became good friends because of their shared interest- Minecraft. Since 2013, they have been in touch and even decided to live together. It is a common thing among YouTubers and content creators to live together and create content. This ensures that their fan base increases and stays stronger than others.

Seeing how this is what Sapnap always wanted since he was a child, he immediately agreed and flew down to Florida to live with the Dream Team.  However, covid was looming around that time so one of the members of the team was unable to come down to Florida. Their viewers had to wait for the travel restrictions to be lifted to get their joint content. After the restriction was removed, all the members came to Florida and are now living together as a team. 

We can say that 2020 was a career-building year for Sapnap. Sapnap and Dream Team create content that is funny, admirable and, informative. They make sure that their fans are not getting bored or feel like they are provided with repetitive content by showing fans their game and playing techniques, they also teach their fans how to play and what tricks to apply in tough situations. 

Sapnap’s Other Channels

The love and recognition he received from his fans made him realise his potential and with this thought in his mind, he created two more YouTube channels. Presently, he has 4.6 Million subscribers on his first-created channels and has more than 25 Million views on his videos!

His Other Two Channels are

• Sapnap Live

These two channels are about Minecraft too. The only difference is that he uses Sapna Live for live streaming and Sapna Video is about more personal and fun parts of his life. In Sapnap, he usually uploads videos that are longer than his other videos and talks about his daily activities, about whom he met, who is going to be his next collaboration, or what Minecraft trend he is following, and challenges that other YouTubers do. This channel only has a total of five videos up until now. 

His first channel, that is Sapnap, has the most subscribers, and here he is a regular as well. The other two are more for him than his followers.
